So, while Matt was traveling with our church on a mission trip to the Carribbean, Noah and I got to fly to Idaho and visit with my best girlfriends from college days...we've always called ourselves the V5, and Beth made us shirts with a new logo, hence the new fiVe title and shirts. We got 3 cute shirts and a little tote bag to match! We think they're pretty sweet. What a fun surprise. Thanks again B!
Emily was kind enough to host our little reunion out at her new house on the hill in Melba. So that is where most of the fun went down. We also drove into Boise for several little field trips. No late nights out-on-the-town this time around--we had 5 kids hanging around! Instead, like a bunch of old moms, we kicked it up at Chuck E. Cheese's,
the Boise Zoo,
(Doesn't Noah look oh so amuzed with his mom, forcing him to stand in front of this window? he had no idea what was behind him at this moment!)and a hot springs swimming pool near Em's house.
We also got to visit Kevin's (Em's hubby) firehouse in Boise,
where he is a super famous fireman. (THE Calendar Cover for the most recent firemen's calendar! Ha ha) The kids all had a ball, and we girls enjoyed watching them have fun and play together.
Noah's favorite things were the big tiger at the zoo and Colby's trampoline. He jumped and jumped and jumped....all the while saying "UP, UP, UP" the WHOLE time. It was pretty cute and funny. But tiring, because I had to jump with him or he would have walked right off the edge of the trampoline. No photo of the trampoline, but here's a wagon ride.
All the kids also loved Colby's slipNslide with a fountain attatched. They ran around spitting water at us for a loooong time. All these photos are from the other girls' cameras--I just got mine put on a c.d. and will add in the next few days. What cute mamas they all are!I also got to share a wonderful lunch with my good friend, Janelle, who is pictured below. We missed a play date with her two beautiful daughters because of a silly sickness, but it was sooo good to see the her! Here's the picture I promised, Nells!
