Happy Father's Day! Matt, Noah, and I are enjoying a quiet afternoon at home today. We had a nice morning at church and a busy but yummy lunch at Outback. The U.S. Open is on, so of course Matt is busy watching that, as well as packing for camp. Youth camp is this week and I will not be attending due to my new mommy role--I just realized this may be the first time I've missed teen camp in like 10 years--before I was married to a youth pastor, I spent those 3 summers at Golden Bell...and before that, I was in highschool...wow. Good times. If I didn't have the most adorable little man to spend my time with, I might be sad. But as I sit here typing, Noah is rolling around on the floor on his wiggle worm gym, chewing on a zebra with silly long legs, and now presently "yelling" at him. I wish I could include audio with this blog, he is hilarious. He loves that little zebra, but then the next minute he yells at it, as if to say, "come on, now, do something to entertain me!" Here he is with his favorite "butterfly" rattle from the dangling gym. The butterfly's wings crinkle like cellophane. The first pix is a picture of the photo collage I gave Matt for Daddy's day--yes, that's a golf ball in his hands. The other photo is of course the boy and his dad from today. I am blessed by the most wonderful man who has been the most incredible husband and now is the most adorable dad ever.
