"May the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable to you, O Lord, my Rock and my Redeemer." Psalm 19:14

May 3rd
Ten years ago on this day I was sick with the flu on the morning of my senior prom. One year later on this day was my grandmother Hays' funeral. This exact time last year, I was sick as a dog in bed for 3 days. May 3rd has never really been momentous for me. Well, the first one, back in 1979 was a pretty big day! But not so much since...
May 3rd, 2007... my 28th birthday... was easily the best birthday ever. How could it not be, when I now have the most adorable baby to enjoy it with? After sleeping in and a great breakfast at IHOP, I enjoyed a wonderful day at home with my two favorite boys. Noah and I spent the afternoon talking and cuddling. Then Matthew took me to The Melting Pot for my birthday dinner. We left little Noah at Ms. Bev's for the evening (first baby sitter!) and drove the 45 min. drive up to Viera to enjoy the most wonderful evening of fine dining. We went for the big 4 course dinner --cheese fondu, salad, meats and vegies, and then of course, chocolate fondu for dessert. Here is Matt posing with the fruit and yummies plate that came with the chocolarte...dessert was definitely the best course. Notice the balloons in the background? Compliments of the birthday package from the restaurant :-) I returned home to find 2 dozen roses on my doorstep, sent from my wonderful sister. It doesn't get much better than all that!
