Thursday's "Day off":

We decided to FINALLY move Noah over from his "nursery" room into the spare bedroom/office room. He's really outgrown his crib a while ago, but we couldn't decide what step was next...get a big boy bed for him? Make the crib into a twin bed? Plus it seemed like such a big job---relocated all my office and craft stuff. But after just a few short hours, we LOVE the outcome. And wonder WHY IN THE WOLRD didn't we do this a LONG time ago?!?! The little bedroom Noah has had since his birth makes a great, little office. That small space doesn't really take pix well, but here's the bigger of the two rooms, Noah's...
BEFORE...as Noah HELPS Dad put the crib back together as a daybed. . .Noah LOVES to use a screwdriver and hammer! I think he's gonna be a little carpenter or builder or something...
and AFTER...
We still have a few things to put up on the walls, but we like it. And so does Little Man. He jumps up and down on his bed just like he always has, but now he can launch himself out onto the floor. Great. It's also nice to get a few of his toys out of the family room, and give him a space of his own to actually play in. We tried to have N sleep in his new bed last night....and he did, until he woke up with a soaked diaper/bed. And then it was back to the futon/couch for a little while...
